Friends of the West Fargo Public Library

Who Are the Friends?

The Friends of the West Fargo Public Library is a non-profit organization dedicated to helping the Library make information and knowledge accessible to the communities it serves. The Friends group purchases special library materials and equipment, and sponsors numerous programs throughout the year. Funds are generated by memberships and book sales.

Services & Materials

 In the past Friends of the Library funds have provided:

  • Equipment for the Historical Center
  • Technology for check-out by library patrons
  • Chairs for the Children’s Corner
  • Summer Reading Program events
  • Materials and programming for the One Book, One Community read
  • Furniture for teen area
  • Special events for summer reading program

Upcoming Book Sale

The Friends of the West Fargo Public Library will host their 2019 winter book sale on Saturday, January 26 from 10 a.m.-4 p.m.

Stop in to find great deals on books in all genres for kids and adults! Buy an entire bag of books for $8. All proceeds will benefit the West Fargo Public Library.

Ongoing Book Sale

The Friends maintain a book shelf at the entrance to the West Fargo Public Library (next to the indoor book drop) where you can purchase any item for $1.00. The selection varies, so check regularly to find your next read.
