West Fargo Snow Removal Level of Service
It is the expectation that the City keep all roadways sufficiently passable during and following a winter storm.
Each storm is unique and the measures utilized to clear the roads take into consideration air and pavement temperatures, wind characteristics, precipitation rates and types, duration and traffic activity. Availability of equipment, personnel and materials are also key factors that affect the effectiveness of snow and ice control efforts. Consequently, roadways are prioritized with Snow Emergency Routes being given the highest priority.i
