Chris Seidel has served as the Office Supervisor for the West Fargo Police Department since 2002. Prior to this position, she was hired as a Police Dispatcher in 1995.
Seidel is primarily responsible for all financial matters concerning the Police Department. The office supervisor is essential in helping develop the budget each year. This position includes reviewing and processing purchase requests, recommending modifications when necessary.
The office supervisor also helps in reviewing reports to ensure compliance with departmental, state and federal guidelines. They must have a thorough knowledge of the police department as well as other city offices. Also the Office Supervisor must be able to utilize and understand a variety of office equipment, attend meetings, take minutes, and supervise others.
Office Supervisor supervises the Transcriptionist staff, the Crime Free Housing Coordinator, the Police Records Clerk, and the Police Clerks.
