Utility bills are mailed out the last day of each month and are due and payable upon receipt. Any payment not received by the 15th of each month becomes delinquent. There is a $10.00 late fee that will be assessed monthly on an account that is carrying an unpaid balance. Delinquent accounts are subject to disconnection. To re-establish service, payment must be made in full with cash, credit/debit card or a money order including a $30.00 reconnection fee. Reconnection of service ceases on weekdays at 2:00 PM. Service will remain disconnected until paid at City Hall between the hours of 8:00 am and 2:00 PM weekdays. Payments that are returned from the bank for non-payment will be charged a $20.00 fee and are subject to immediate disconnection.
Payment may be mailed, or delivered to 800 4th Avenue East, West Fargo, ND 58078 or left at drop boxes for utility payments which are located at Family Fare or at the City Hall entrance. There is also the ability to automatically pay your bill by pre-authorized debit. Credit card payments are also accepted via telephone and in person as well as online. In order to have your City of West Fargo water/garbage/sewer bill paid directly out of either your checking or savings account you need to complete the customer authorization form below and forward it to the West Fargo City Hall.

Moving in Town or Moving Out
If you are new in town and need to set up services for utilities, you will need to complete the form below. The City of West Fargo has adopted the "Red Flag Rules" which implements an identity theft prevention program and as a part of the compliance a written application for service must be completed by anyone seeking utility service in the City of West Fargo.
When moving out you do need to contact the City of West Fargo and let us know or the bill will stay in your name. Please contact us via, email, phone or fax and let us know so we can get the information we need (forwarding address, closing dates/moving dates, new owners names etc). Please note that the bill cards WILL NOT forward to your new address automatically, they will be returned to us.
