On 9/21/16 at approximately 10:00 AM the West Fargo Police were called to a burglary in process at 104 36th Avenue Place East. The home owner said they saw a man run out of the shed that is on their property. Officers arrived on scene quickly and set up a perimeter around the shed. A West Fargo K9 unit was called to track the suspect. The K9 tracked and found the suspect in the long grass next to the Sheyenne river that is located along the home owner’s property line. The K9 bit the suspect before he was taken into custody by officers. The suspect was identified as 42 year old Kenneth Morris, who has no known address. Morris was taken to the hospital to be seen for minor injuries on his arm. He was then taken to jail and booked in for Burglary.

On 9/17/16 at 10:59 P.M. West Fargo Police Officers were dispatched to an Assault that took place inside Pub West, 3140 Bluestem Dr., with a male knocked unconscious. The victim was responsive when Officers arrived on scene, with severe lacerations on the back of his head. He was transported to the Essentia Health Emergency Room and later released after treatment. The suspect was quickly identified as 27 year old Matthew James Setter of Fargo, who had left the scene and was located a short time later at his residence. Setter was arrested for Aggravated Assault and booked into Cass County Jail.

On 8-25-16 Detectives from the West Fargo Police Department arrested Amy Grieger 41 yoa of West Fargo, ND and Leah Willason 38 yoa of Fargo, ND for theft of property at the M&J Saloon in West Fargo, ND.

Update: West Fargo PD has confirmed the names of the people involved in the deaths at 44 C St in West Fargo on 8-21-16.

The West Fargo Police Department has received numerous reports of victims being defrauded by phone scams

On 8-21-16 around 9pm, West Fargo Officers were dispatched to 444 C St in West Fargo for a medical. When officers arrived they located two victims, a 55 year old male and a 45 year old female.
