Getting your pet licensed and keeping your contact info up to date with us increases the chances that your favorite Fido or kitty cat will make it home safely if they should happen to find themselves lost and it is required by city ordinance for all dogs and cats over 12 weeks of age.

On 11-30-16, at approximately 11:30 PM, West Fargo Police Officers responded to an injury accident at the intersection of 9th St. E and 7th Ave. E. in West Fargo. A small passenger car with a single occupant 18 year old driver was travelling northbound on 9th St. E. and struck an 18 year old pedestrian that was crossing 9th St. E. on 7th Ave. The pedestrian was transported to the hospital by ambulance for serious injuries.

On November 17, 2016 at 0437 hours West Fargo Officers were dispatched to the 400 block of 7Th Ave. E. for a fight. It was found that the 19 year old female victim was allegedly approached by her ex-boyfriend, 29 year old Alex Foglio, and was assaulted by him and a 24 year old female. The victim was able to escape and came into contact with officers as they were responding to the assault.

We would like to alert the public about a phone scam. The callers are stating they are attempting to raise money for Cass County Fire Departments. The calls are from out of state. If you recieve a call similar in nature, local Fire Departments are not raising funds by phone at this time. Do NOT give out any personal information or send money.

On 10/23/16 the West Fargo Police were dispatched to a single vehicle injury accident in the 3500 block of Eagle Run Lane.

On October 17, 2016 at 3:59pm the West Fargo Police Dept. responded to an injury accident at Meyer Dr. and Prairie Pkwy involving a vehicle vs. bicycle. Hamdi Mohamud 27 of Fargo was driving West on Prairie Pkwy when a 13 year old boy was riding his bike North on 12th Ave and ran into the side of Mohamud’s vehicle. The boy was transported to the hospital by family as a precaution.

Bismarck and Fargo, N.D. – The North Dakota 9-1-1 Association and local governments throughout the state announced that as of October 6, 2016, Texting to 9-1-1 is now available statewide.

On October 4th 2016, at approximately 7:34 AM a West Fargo School bus was turning from Main Ave onto 9th St E. The bus was struck by another vehicle that entered the intersection on a red light, this crash caused the bus to strike several other vehicles.
