On 8-25-16 Detectives from the West Fargo Police Department arrested Amy Grieger 41 yoa of West Fargo, ND and Leah Willason 38 yoa of Fargo, ND for theft of property at the M&J Saloon in West Fargo, ND.

Update: West Fargo PD has confirmed the names of the people involved in the deaths at 44 C St in West Fargo on 8-21-16.

The West Fargo Police Department has received numerous reports of victims being defrauded by phone scams

On 8-21-16 around 9pm, West Fargo Officers were dispatched to 444 C St in West Fargo for a medical. When officers arrived they located two victims, a 55 year old male and a 45 year old female.

On 8/20/16 at 11:27 A.M. West Fargo police officers attempted to make a traffic stop on a vehicle for a traffic violation near Main Ave and 8th St. W. in West Fargo. The vehicle fled at a high rate of speed and continued going the wrong way on Main Ave onto I94. The vehicle was stopped on the I94 on ramp without incident or injury. The driver, 30 year old Jerrid Maes of West Fargo, was taken into custody. The passenger, 25 year old Danielle Franklin of West Fargo, was also arrested on an outstanding warrant and Possession of Scheduled Narcotics. Maes is charged with Felony Reckless Endangerment, Fleeing in a Motor Vehicle, 5 outstanding warrants, Ingestion of a Controlled Substance, Possession of Methamphetamine and Methamphetamine Paraphernalia and Possession of Scheduled Narcotics. Both were booked into Cass County Jail.

On 8/25/2016 from 6:30PM until 8:00PM the West Fargo Police Department will be hosting a Town Hall Meeting.

**UPDATE: He has been located. Thank you for your assistance.** On 8-18-16 at approximately 2:24PM Officers were dispatched to 921 10th Ave. W. in West Fargo for a missing person. The Native American male is identified as 21 year old Jordan Lee Steffens. Steffens is considered a vulnerable adult with possible mental illness at this time.

Fargo, ND - The Community is invited to attend Arms Wide Open on Wednesday, September 7th from 6:30 – 8:00 pm at Fargo South High School. Arms Wide Open is the third in a series of Community Forums addressing the opiate/heroin crisis in the FM Region. Keynote speaker is Chuck Rosenberg, Drug Enforcement Agency Administrator. Additional speakers include: Drew Wrigley, Lieutenant Governor of North Dakota; Birch Burdick, Cass County State’s Attorney; and representatives from local universities and school districts. Resource booths will be available for attendees to browse.
