During the training class you and your staff will learn how to keep illegal activity out of your rental units.  This is the initial part of a three phase program called Crime Free Multi-Housing which was developed by Tim Zehring of the Mesa Arizona Police Department.

The West Fargo Police Department is a member of the International Crime Free Multi-Housing program and the Minnesota Crime Prevention Association.

The class will be informative and will address working with police, police investigations, offenders, evictions, drug awareness, fire safety, Section 8 Housing, Fair Housing, and legal issues for landlords.

The program is designed to help stop illegal activity in multi-housing communities as well as single unit rental properties.  Those who use the techniques from this program should benefit from:

  • A stabilized, more satisfied tenant base, with increased demand for rentals
  • Lower maintenance and repair costs
  • Improved property values
  • Improved level of personal safety for both tenants and neighbors
  • Peace of mind and less time spent on crisis control

We encourage all owners, managers, resident managers, maintenance personnel to attend this valuable program

Contact Pam Cota at 701-433-5557 or email her at to sign up for the training class and/or questions regarding the Crime Free Multi-Housing training program.
