Where do I pay a Parking Ticket?

You may pay for a parking ticket issued by a police officer in West Fargo by either coming to the West Fargo Police Department and pay the ticket in person between the hours of 7:00 am to 10:00 pm. The police department is located at 800 4th Avenue East. Or mailing the payment in to the Police Department at : West Fargo Police Department, 800 4th Avenue East, Ste 2, West Fargo ND 58078. The payment can be made in cash, check or money order form.
Can we ask for special parking for certain events?

Yes, you will need to contact the Police Department (433-5500) and ask to speak to an officer. Be prepared to provide the officer with the following information: your name, address, date, time and type of event. The officer will consider the request and make a determination if the special parking is warranted.
When is my recycling pick-up day and where do I get a container?

Recycling pickup is every other pickup week on the regualar day of your pickup. A calendar and other important recycling information is available for you on-line or at City Hall to track when these days are, items accepted, and drop off sites. Recycling containers are available for pickup at City Hall. The first container is free of charge.

About West Fargo

A Walk in Elmwood Park West Fargo, North Dakota, has a population of over 25,000. West Fargo has a warm, friendly, small town atmosphere, complemented by metropolitan area advantages.

In 1917, Equity Cooperative Packing Company began construction of its plant in what was called West Fargo. In 1925, Armour and Company bought out the plant and housing for employees, which had been built north of the highway. Residents living there were asked to move from their homes, with many relocating south of the highway to form their own village.
