MetroCOG Metro Grow Open House2019-02-08T11:00:00West Fargo residents are invited to join the Fargo-Moorhead Metropolitan Council of Government for an open house to provide input on the types of transportation projects and strategies that should be included in the regional Metropolitan Transportation Plan, called Metro Grow.
Stop in anytime from 11 a.m.-7 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 8, at the Stone Building (613 1st Ave. N, Fargo ND) to share your ideas for all modes of travel.
The Metro Grow team members want your input and will be available to answer questions in-person.
Meeting information will also be available on metrogrow.org beginning on February 8.
About the LRTP: The Fargo – Moorhead Metropolitan Council of Governments is in the process of updating its Metropolitan Transportation Plan, called Metro Grow. The plan, also known as a long-range transportation plan, will be developed to meet our community’s goals, needs and priorities for all modes of travel through 2045.

Police Officer Job Applications Due2019-02-18T00:00:00The City of West Fargo is currently accepting applications for Police Officers. These positions will provide law enforcement services to the West Fargo community.
An equivalent of 60 semester hours in Criminal Justice or a closely related field is required. Candidates must have attended or be currently attending a ND approved Law Enforcement skills program. POST license or POST eligible is a must. Applicants must be able to render credible testimony in a court of law. Valid driver’s license is also required.
Annual starting salary is $52,882-$58,170, depending on experience.
The physical agility testing and written exam are tentatively scheduled to take place in February 2019. More details on this will be available after the closing date of the position.
