Why volunteer at the West Fargo Public Library?

The West Fargo Public Library serves thousands of individuals and families in West Fargo and beyond through hundreds of programs, outreach, events and more. (We don't just have books for checkout!) We need supporters like YOU to help us continue our work of empowering the people of our metro area, providing services for those who can't get them anywhere else, impacting the lives of many and, of course, having fun!

Opportunities for Support

In the past, volunteers and library supporters like you have helped support library efforts such as the Little Red Reading Bus, participation in community events, collection development, fundraisers, crafts and activities for kids and adults, the Summer Reading Program and much, much more. To find out what opportunities are readily available fill out our Volunteer Interest Form and we will connect with you!

Another great way to support the library is simply by advocating for our many services through word-of-mouth or by volunteering to be a social media ambassador.

Joining the Friends of the West Fargo Public Library is another way to make an impact and support the library and our many services. Learn more about the Friends by visiting the Friends of the West Fargo Public Library webpage.
