Starting Wednesday, June 5, crews will begin concrete removals on the eastside of Sheyenne Street between East Beaton Drive and Interstate 94 (I-94) interchange. During the project work, the northbound Sheyenne Street dedicated left-turn, through lane and dedicated right-turn lane will be reduced to one lane for about two blocks. Southbound Sheyenne Street traffic control will remain the same with three driving lanes open through the area. Access to East Beaton Drive from the temporary traffic signals at Sheyenne Street will remain open. Works is anticipated to take two weeks, weather permitting. The lane reduction is needed to allow crews to remove the existing pavement and begin paving operations for the new Sheyenne Street driving lane.
