Discovering Your Roots: Assembling an Account of Your Discoveries

Saturday, March 25, 2023

Learn the best practices for organizing materials and assembling a lasting account of your heritage during this session of our genealogy video series.

This event is part of the West Fargo Public Library's series of free screenings of genealogy video courses from The Great Courses presented by John Phillip Colletta Ph. D., Professor at the Institute of Genealogy and Historical Research at Samford University.

"You’ve learned how to build context and write an engaging narrative. Now, examine the best ways to organize your material and assemble a lasting account of your unique heritage. What are the fundamental questions you’ll need to answer before writing? What are the five elements essential to any multigenerational account?"
