Monday Matinee: "Wild" (R)
Monday, October 2, 2023
October's theme is "Nature."
"A self-destructive divorcée hikes the Pacific Crest Trail in the US in a bid to conquer her demons. As she reflects on her failed marriage and her mother's death, the kindness of strangers helps her summon the courage she'll need to stay the course."
Monday Matinees at the West Fargo Public Library are free and open to the public and include first-come, first-serve popcorn and seating. Monday Matinees are usually intended for adult audiences, so please make note of film ratings. More movie screenings.
This event is part of this year's One Book, One Community program hosted by metro area libraries. This year's read is "Hudson Bay Bound" by Natalie Warren, so many of the special events, presentations, films and more feature themes of adventure and exploring nature.
