[ARCHIVED] West Fargo Police Department responds to armed robbery

At 7:18 a.m. Monday, Aug. 26, 2019, a lone suspect walked into Casey’s General Store located at 524 Sheyenne St. in West Fargo. The suspect was wearing a black hoodie and a white mask covering their face. The suspect is male, under 6-feet tall with a slender build. The individual did display a gun and demanded money. The suspect left the store on foot with an undetermined amount of money and traveled west.

There were no shots fired and no one was injured during the robbery. Members of the West Fargo Police Department responded to the scene in less than one minute and began to search the area. Officers with the Cass County Sheriff’s Department and the North Dakota Highway Patrol assisted with the search.

The suspect in this morning’s robbery is described as a darker skinned male, approximately 5 feet, 6 inches tall, under the age of 25. Still photos of the suspect are included. The suspect left west from the store on foot.
