The City of West Fargo is seeking volunteers for the upcoming West Fest Community Celebration on Saturday, Sept. 21. Volunteers are needed for a variety of shifts, from assisting parade lineup to monitoring play on inflatable games. This is a great service opportunity for individuals or groups. The West Fest committee is able to sign off on any hours for high school or college students who may need volunteer credits. Volunteers will receive a free West Fest 2018 t-shirt. Fundraising opportunities may be available for booster clubs.
Volunteers are needed for the following shifts:
- 8 a.m. - noon (races, parade line-up, food court, craft & vendor show)
- 12 p.m. - 4:30 p.m. (parade crowd control, family fun manning inflatable games, craft & vendor show)
- 8 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. (see above)
- 6 p.m. - 10 p.m. (street dance)
- 8:30 p.m. - 10 p.m. (street dance, food court tear-down)
- 4:30 p.m. - 10 p.m. (craft & vendor show, street dance, tear-down)
