At approximately 10:30 p.m. Monday, Sept. 23, 2019, the West Fargo Police Department conducted a traffic stop in the 50 block of Fifth Street E. The vehicle fled the stop and officers pursued the vehicle.
The suspect drove into a field in the 500 block of 12th Avenue NE, and the driver fled the vehicle on foot. Officers set up a perimeter in an attempt to apprehend the driver, but were unable to locate the suspect.
The driver is identified as Manuel Carrillo, a 26-year-old male from Fargo. Officer are seeking charges of Fleeing in a Motor Vehicle, Reckless Driving, Driving under Suspension, Possession of Methamphetamine, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia for Carrillo. A female passenger, 26-year-old Krystle Landa, was arrested for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and taken to the Cass County Jail.
No one was injured and no property was damaged as a result of the pursuit. Anyone with knowledge of Carrillo’s whereabouts is asked to contact the West Fargo Police Department at 701-433-5500. This case is still under investigation.
