At 10 a.m. Sunday, Dec. 15, 2019, the Fraternal Order of Police Red River Valley Lodge #1 will be conducting their 25th Annual Cops and Kids Shopping Event. This will be held at Walmart, located at 3701 13th Ave. SW, Fargo.
The primary purpose of this program is to provide a brighter Christmas for disadvantaged children in our communities. This also allows children to meet and visit with local law enforcement officers in a positive setting. The children have already been selected for the shopping event.
Following the shopping event, the children and their law enforcement partner will have lunch at the West Fargo Police Department, located at 800 Fourth Ave. E. Gifts will be wrapped by volunteers from Microsoft/Police Auxiliary volunteers.
