[ARCHIVED] Jan. 2, 2020, West Fargo sanitation schedule update

Sanitation holiday schedule (1)

The City of West Fargo Sanitation Department wants to thank #WestFargo residents for their continued patience and understanding this week. With the holidays and recent snowstorm, our ability to collect garbage has been impacted.

If your garbage was not collected please hold on to the garbage until next week’s collection time or bring it to the Transfer Station (1620 W Main Ave). The Transfer Station is open from 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on weekdays and from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday. Do NOT bring your garbage to the City of West Fargo recycling centers.

Currently, crews are collecting according to the amended New Year’s holiday schedule.
🎉Wednesday and Thursday garbage collection occurs today, Thursday, Jan. 2, 2020.
🎉 Friday garbage collection occurs Friday.
🎉Wednesday, Thursday and Friday recycling collection is delayed by one day all week, ending with Friday recycling collection on Saturday.

To assist our crews, when placing your garbage and recycling out for collection, do not place your bins on top of snow piles. This is one cause for delay in collection, as it is difficult to safely and efficiently dump the bins.
