[ARCHIVED] City of West Fargo snow removal plan for Monday and Tuesday, Jan. 27 and 28

Snow removal (1)

On Monday and Tuesday, Jan. 24 and 25, West Fargo snow removal crews will work to remove ice and snow from city streets. From 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. each day, residents are asked to remove any parked cars from the streets to allow crews to clear the streets completely.

As the streets are cleared, it is likely a snow ridge may be left in front of driveways. Crews are aware of the inconvenience this may cause for homeowners and will attempt to keep snow accumulation to a minimum.

Please note as well that homeowners are responsible for clearing snow away from their mailboxes to insure delivery. This includes community mailboxes, which are treated as private mailboxes. Snowplow crews will continue to try to get as close to the curb as possible as the season continues.

The City of West Fargo thanks you for your cooperation and patience as we work to ensure our city streets are safe and clear this winter.

Want to watch the action? During the winter months, residents can track snow plow progress using the snowplow tracker at http://westfargo.plowtracker.com/ This is not a prediction of where the plows will go, but shows where plows have been. You are able to view their routes going as far back as 24 hours.
