Copy of Copy of closure

In the interest of public safety amid the COVID-19 pandemic, the West Fargo Public Library will close for an undefined duration beginning Tuesday, March 17, 2020. The decision was made in an effort to protect the health and safety of staff and patrons.

While the library’s physical location will be closed, the library’s many online services will remain available to patrons. These resources can be found at www.westfargolibrary.org. West Fargo Public Library staff are also working to facilitate online versions of their popular programs for patrons to participate in while maintaining social distancing practices. More details will be made available as plans are solidified.

All hold and due dates will be extended until at least April 13, 2020.

The West Fargo Public Library continues to work closely with fellow City of West Fargo departments to monitor the situation surrounding COVID-19 and to devise plans for response that are in the best interest of public safety, while continuing to provide public services.

The West Fargo Public Library encourages patrons to join the library and fellow City of West Fargo departments in following the guidelines of Fargo Cass Public Health, North Dakota Department of Health and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention at this time. The West Fargo Public Library will continue to share updates regarding its response to COVID-19 and any more operational changes on Facebook, Twitter and www.westfargolibrary.org.
