The City of West Fargo is adding a new twist to the Love Your Local gift card campaign. In addition to the $25 gift card sent to each West Fargo household, any resident of West Fargo can also enter to win an additional $1,000 gift card to spend in West Fargo. 

To enter, residents can submit a photo and description of their favorite local business at westfargond.gov/LoveYourLocal, post it to Facebook and tag @CityofWestFargo and use the hashtag #LoveYourLocalWF, or post the photo and description directly on the City of West Fargo’s Facebook page (www.facebook.com/CityofWestFargo). On Twitter, residents can also publish the photo and description and include @CityofWestFargo and #LoveYourLocalWF in the tweet. Additionally, paper forms are available at West Fargo City Hall 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. 

This giveaway is open to residents of West Fargo who are 18 years old at the time of entry. A random drawing will be held to select a winner each Friday in March and winners will be notified the following Monday. The deadline to enter before the final drawing is 8 p.m. Thursday, March 25, 2021.

Enrollment in the Love Your Local program is still open for interested West Fargo businesses. Businesses can enroll by completing the merchant form at westfargond.gov/LoveYourLocal by Monday, March 15, 2021. Households are only able to use the gift card in West Fargo, so businesses can only register locations in West Fargo. There are no additional costs or purchasing fees to businesses. 

The City of West Fargo will highlight the participating businesses on the website and social media channels and provide on-site signage for businesses to identify themselves as a location accepting the Love Your Local gift cards.

The deadline for residents to use the $25 Love Your Local gift cards at participating businesses is Sunday, March 28, 2021.
