Due to a large sinkhole, the east side of the Eighth Street W. and 10 ½ Avenue W. intersection is closed. Repairs are expected to begin Monday and could last until Wednesday, March 31.

Eighth Street W. will remain open to northbound and southbound traffic. Residents will be able to use 11th Avenue W. to access homes off Eighth Street W. between 10 ½ Avenue W. and 11th Avenue W. 

Motorists in these areas may encounter congestion and delays during the morning and evening commutes and should adjust their travel plans accordingly. Always use the ‘S’ check when traveling in and around construction areas – check your speed, space and stress.
