A section of 12th Avenue E., between Fourth Street E. and Sixth Street E., that closed Tuesday, April 27, for pavement removals and storm sewer installation has been extended. This closure is expected to last through May.
These improvements are part of a project to install a bike path from 13th Avenue E. to Seventh Avenue E. The project’s funding source is a grant from the North Dakota Department of Transportation and capital improvement sales tax. The final project will improve pedestrian routes from 13th Avenue E. to Main Avenue E.
Surrounding streets will be open for motorists to detour around the closure. Motorists in this area may encounter delays during the morning and evening commutes. Always use the ‘S’ check when traveling in and around construction areas – check your speed, space and stress.
