The West Fargo Fire Department was dispatched to a construction vehicle on fire in the 1000 block of Ashley Drive W. around 3:50 p.m. Wednesday, May 26, 2021. 

An individual on scene jumped into the vehicle and drove it away from a nearby house that had caught fire to prevent the fire from spreading. The individual received minor burns to his face and hands. 

Other construction workers on the scene used fire extinguishers on the house and were able to put out the fire that was on the house. The vehicle fire was extinguished and it was a total loss.
