[ARCHIVED] Concrete patching on 31st Avenue E. to begin Monday, Oct. 4

Concrete patching repairs will begin on 31st Avenue E. at the intersections of 5th Street E. and 7th Street E. Monday, Oct. 4. Repairs are anticipated to be complete by Wednesday, Oct. 20, pending weather conditions. 

The intersection of 5th Street E. and 31st Avenue E. will have a partial lane closure. The detour route will direct traffic to 4th Street E. to 26th Avenue E.  

Closed areas include the intersection of 7th Street E. and 31st Avenue E. For regional and through traffic, the detour route will use Bluestem Drive to 26th Avenue E. For business access east of the closure, the detour route will use 26th Avenue E. The previous closure on Bluestem Drive will be completed and removed Friday, Oct. 1. 

Motorists in these areas may encounter congestion and delays during the morning and evening commutes and should adjust their travel plans accordingly. Always use the ‘S’ check when traveling in and around construction areas – check your speed, space and stress.
