[ARCHIVED] City of West Fargo municipal buildings closed until 12 p.m. Tuesday and garbage schedule changes

All West Fargo municipal buildings are closed to the public until noon Tuesday, Feb. 22, due to difficult driving conditions caused by the blizzard. The West Fargo Library is closed all day. All motorists are encouraged to remain off the roads until conditions improve. Updates regarding snowplow operations will be provided via social media.

The City of West Fargo’s Sanitation Division will be adjusting garbage collection schedules due to this week’s winter weather. Changes are as follows:

  • Monday, Feb. 21 garbage route will be collected Tuesday, Feb. 22.
  • Tuesday, Feb 22 garbage route will be collected Wednesday, Feb. 23.
  • Wednesday, Feb. 23, and Thursday, Feb 24 routes will be collected Thursday, Feb. 24. This will serve as a double pick-up day. 
  • Friday, Feb. 25 garbage collection remains unchanged. 

Recycling Route Update: There will be no recycling collection Tuesday, Feb. 22. Recycling collection will be delayed by one day for the remainder of the week.
