[ARCHIVED] City of West Fargo seeks applicants for Planning and Zoning Commission

PZ Commission Applications

The City of West Fargo is seeking applicants to fill vacancies on the Planning and Zoning Commission. Applications for one current opening will be accepted through April 1, and can be completed at https://lf.westfargond.gov/Forms/Application-Boards. Applications received after April 1 will be kept on file and considered for future vacancies.

Each committee member is appointed to a five-year term by the West Fargo City Commission President and is subject to confirmation by the West Fargo City Commission. Planning and Zoning Commission members must reside within West Fargo city limits and attend at least one meeting per month. Commissioners receive a monthly stipend for their service.

The Planning Commission is made up of eight members who work with the City’s Planning and Zoning Department to advise the City Commission on matters relating to the growth and development of the City of West Fargo. This includes aiding in the development of plans, review of development proposals, hosting of public hearings, and consideration of amendments to zoning and development regulations, among other planning activities.
