Special Assessment Commission opening

The City of West Fargo is seeking applicants for a vacancy on the Special Assessment Commission. The application is open through May 2 and is available at https://lf.westfargond.gov/Forms/Application-Boards

The Special Assessment Commission is a three-member board that is responsible for making and returning special assessment district allocation recommendations to the West Fargo City Commission. The Commission makes these recommendations in accordance with the City’s special assessment policy and North Dakota Century Code Chapter 40-23.

Each commissioner receives a six-year appointment from the West Fargo City Commission President and is subject to confirmation by the West Fargo City Commission. Special Assessment Commissioners must reside within West Fargo city limits and attend meetings as they are scheduled. The position’s compensation is $80 per special assessment district.
