[ARCHIVED] Open house for outgoing City of West Fargo Commissioner Eric Gjerdevig

The City of West Fargo would like to invite the public to an open house to recognize outgoing West Fargo City Commissioner Eric Gjerdevig. The event will be held from 4 - 5 p.m. Monday, June 20, in the Commission Chambers of West Fargo City Hall. 

Commissioner Gjerdevig, a West Fargo native, was elected to the West Fargo City Commission in 2018. He has held the planning, zoning and engineering portfolio since 2020. He also served on the West Fargo Public Library Board, West Fargo Fire Department Board of Directors before the fire department became a part of the City, West Fargo Economic Development Advisory Committee, Fargo-Moorhead Metropolitan Council of Governments and West Fargo Liquor Control Board.

Commissioner Gjerdevig has a business degree from Minnesota State University Moorhead and a master’s degree from the University of North Dakota. He currently teaches at North Dakota State University on the topic of professional selling and sales and marketing technology. He has also served the community through participation in the Dakota Telco Federal Credit Union, Rape and Abuse Crisis Center and Tech ND.
