The eastbound left lane of 13th Avenue will close beginning Thursday, Sept. 1,, from 3rd Street E to 6th Street E. for work in preparation for underground repairs. Traffic access will be maintained in each direction during this work. Work is anticipated to be complete by Friday, Sept. 2, pending weather conditions.
This work is part of phase 2 of the northside regional sanitary sewer collector system rehabilitation project, a capital improvement project. The majority of wastewater throughout the City flows through this system, so maintaining its integrity is imperative. This project is one of the highest priority active projects in the capital improvement plan.
