[ARCHIVED] City of West Fargo to clear end of driveways for residents meeting criteria

Resident Alert

The City of West Fargo will clear the driveway ends for residents who request assistance and meet criteria that causes limited physical ability to remove snow.

“We understand some members of our community are not always able to manage snow removal after periods of significant accumulation like today,” said Mayor Rich Mattern. “Therefore, I have asked our public works department to provide assistance to ensure residents are taken care of.”

Residents with chronic medical conditions, disabilities and senior citizens qualify for the assistance. To request aid, please contact the City of West Fargo public works department at 701-433-5400. This special program is being offered because of the snow accumulation during today’s winter storm and will not be an ongoing service. Assistance will be provided after the snow fall stops and will be contained to clearing the ends of driveways.
