[ARCHIVED] West Fargo Fire Department responds Tuesday, Nov. 29 afternoon garage fire

At approximately 12:30 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 29, 2022, the West Fargo Fire Department was dispatched to 500 1st Ave. NW for an active garage fire. When crews arrived on scene, heavy black smoke was visible from the garage. Crews quickly knocked down and contained the fire.

There is heavy smoke damage to the garage with the cost of damages yet to be determined. The cause of the fire was accidental in nature due to motorcycle mechanical work. There were no injuries to emergency personnel, residents or nearby buildings. 

The West Fargo Fire Department was assisted by the West Fargo Police Department and Sanford Ambulance.
