West Fargo Police Department Police Officer Job Posting and Description

The City of West Fargo is currently accepting applications for Police Officers. These positions will provide law enforcement services to the West Fargo community.

An equivalent of 60 semester hours in Criminal Justice or a closely related field is required. POST license or POST eligible is a must. Applicants must be able to render credible testimony in a court of law. Valid driver’s license is also required.

The physical agility testing and written exam will take place on June 13, 2018. Preliminary interviews will be conducted on June 14 and 15, 2018.

Annual starting salary for applicants with 0-2 years of experience is $49,108. Applicants with civilian law enforcement experience may qualify for lateral years for service credit, with a starting salary of $49,108-51,605, depending on experience. Full benefit package includes 100% employer-paid contribution to the NDPERS pension system.
