On July 11, 2018, the West Fargo Police Department responded to the area of Eighth Street W. and Second Avenue W. on a report of a disturbance. A male victim contacted police and stated that he had gotten into an argument with another male and that sometime during this argument, the suspect pointed a silver handgun at him. The victim stated the male fled the scene in a blue Dodge truck. 

The blue Dodge truck was located and stopped in the 2900 block of Seventh Street W. The driver, Trace William Adams of West Fargo, was arrested without incident. Adams was taken to the Cass County Jail and booked for terrorizing, which is a class B felony. The handgun was later recovered and taken into evidence.
