On Sept. 20, 2017, the West Fargo Police Department responded to a call of a parked vehicle that had sustained damage by someone firing a gun approximately four times into the vehicle. Damage was done to the rear and front windshields. The vehicle was unoccupied at the time. The vehicle is a personal vehicle owned by an area police officer. It appears the incident occurred around 2230 hours Sept. 19, 2017, in the 800 block of Third St. E.  This incident is under investigation.
