[ARCHIVED] City of West Fargo building closures and garbage and recycling schedule changes for upcoming holiday

December Holiday Garbage and Recycling Schedule

City of West Fargo buildings, including West Fargo City Hall, the West Fargo Police Department lobby, municipal court, public works and the West Fargo Public Library, will be closed Monday, Dec. 24, in observance of Christmas Eve, Tuesday, Dec. 25, in observance of Christmas Day and Tuesday, Jan. 1 in observance of New Year’s Day.

Garbage and recycling will be collected Monday, Dec. 24. However, no garbage and recycling will be collected Tuesday, Dec. 25. Tuesday and Wednesday’s garbage will instead be collected Wednesday, Dec. 26 and the rest of the week will remain on schedule. Tuesday’s recycling, which is collected by Waste Management, Inc., will be collected Wednesday, Dec. 26 and the rest of the week will be delayed one day.

Garbage and recycling will also be collected Monday, Dec. 31. However, no garbage and recycling will be collected Tuesday, Jan. 1. Tuesday and Wednesday’s garbage will instead be collected Wednesday, Jan. 2, and the rest of the week will remain on schedule. Tuesday’s recycling will be collected Wednesday, Jan. 2, and the rest of the week will be delayed one day.
