At 12:50 a.m. Friday, Feb. 15, 2019, officers attempted to stop a stolen vehicle in the 3800 block of Main Ave in Fargo and the vehicle fled. Officers were able to use a tire deflation device early in the pursuit to slow the vehicle down. 

The pursuit came back into West Fargo, where the vehicle got stuck in a ditch, ending the pursuit. After a brief standoff, the driver of the vehicle surrendered to the West Fargo Police Department without incident. The driver of the vehicle was identified as 31-year old Cody Church. He was subsequently arrested for multiple charges to include possession of a stolen vehicle, fleeing in a motor vehicle and multiple warrants.
