[ARCHIVED] West Fargo Police Department arrests two

At 8:14 a.m. Tuesday, March 20, 2019, the West Fargo Police Department was dispatched to Menards on a report of shoplifting in progress. Before arrival officers were told a male suspect had run out the back of the store to the lumber yard. Officers arrived on-scene and began to search for the male. Officers were advised that a female who was sitting in front of the store was with the male. Officers made contact with the female, Sara Parisian, Fargo, North Dakota. The female was detained and later arrested for false information to law enforcement. 

Officers determined the truck she was in was reported stolen out of Wright County, Minnesota. The male, Shayne Gill, Monticello, Minnesota, was located near Walmart on 13th Avenue. He was taken into custody without further incident. 

Gill was transported to the Cass County Jail and charged with the following: Felon in possession of a firearm, possession of a schedule II narcotic, possession of methamphetamine, possession of methamphetamine paraphernalia, possession of a stolen vehicle, possession of stolen property, driving under suspension, Ingestion of a controlled substance, fleeing a peace officer, theft of property and fictitious registration.
