[ARCHIVED] City of West Fargo adjusting Transfer Station hours of operations

COWF_SANITATION DEPARTMENT

Starting the week of April 1, the Saturday hours of operations for the City of West Fargo Transfer Station will change to 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. The Monday through Friday hours will continue to be 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. This change is due to an increased demand for commercial garbage collection and will allow Transfer Station staff to better manage their Saturday duties.

The Transfer Station, located at 1620 Main Ave. W., is available for residents to drop off garbage, recycling, branches, metals, household waste, building materials and furniture for free. Residents can also dispose of appliances at the Transfer Station for a $10 charge. For a complete list of disposal requirements for special materials, view the City of West Fargo’s Residential Sanitation and Recycling Manual. To sign up for City of West Fargo Sanitation text message or email alerts, visit the Alert Sign Up page at https://www.westfargond.gov/list.aspx.
