Due to the current and anticipated winter storm conditions through Friday morning, all nonessential City of West Fargo offices and buildings closed at 3 p.m. Thursday, April 11, and are anticipated to reopen at 10 a.m. Friday, April 12. Any changes to tomorrow’s start time will be released by 8:30 a.m. Friday, April 12.
Snow plowing services will continue and public safety agencies will be in full operation to protect and serve the residents of West Fargo.
This closure includes West Fargo City Hall and the West Fargo Police Department lobby at 800 Fourth Ave. E., West Fargo Public Works at 810 12th Ave. NW and the West Fargo Public Library at 109 3rd St. E. The Citizens Police Academy session scheduled for Thursday evening is canceled and will be rescheduled. The Southwest Metro Work Zones biweekly public information meeting scheduled for 9 a.m. Friday, April 12, at the West Fargo Sports Arena has also been canceled. A rescheduled meeting date and time will be announced at a later date.
City officials encourage residents to remain off the roads if possible. They are also stressing the importance of moving all vehicles off city streets to ensure efficient and effective snow removal operations.
