On Saturday, June 8, downtown West Fargo will come alive with local artists, crafters, live music, food and interactive activities during the city’s first street fair. The West Fargo Street Fair will take place 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday, June 8, 2019, and feature local art, jewelry, craft and vendor booths, food trucks and kid-friendly interactive activities in the POW/MIA Plaza. A free concert from 7 to 9 p.m. in the POW/MIA Plaza featuring The Deadbeats will close the event. The event aims to celebrate local art and crafts, bring the community together to enjoy the revitalization of downtown West Fargo and kick off a packed schedule of summer events downtown.
Close to seventy booths will line Sheyenne Street from the south end of Fourth Avenue W. to the north end of Third Avenue W. Attendees will be able to shop for unique clothing, accessories, art pieces and home décor. Kid-friendly activities, such as face painting, will also be available. Eleven different food vendors will provide a diverse mix of food and beverages in the Fourth Avenue W. food court and on the north end of the event. Alcohol vendors will also be selling adult beverages from noon to 9 p.m. in a designated area north of the plaza.
