[ARCHIVED] West Fargo Public Library offers new wireless printing for the public

Wireless Printing Service

The West Fargo Public Library now offers remote wireless printing as part of its services for the public. Members of the public visit the West Fargo Public Library to print thousands of documents each year. With the Library’s new wireless printing service, the public can now send their documents to the Library’s printer from anywhere, at any time. Print items can then be paid for and retrieved at the user’s convenience during the Library’s operating hours. The new wireless printing service is a more flexible option for those who need to print documents quickly and seamlessly from their electronic devices.

Users may access wireless printing by uploading documents to an online print portal, submitting documents via email or using the PrinterOn mobile app from the Apple App Store or Google Play. Once an item is submitted, users have 48 hours to pay for and retrieve their documents. Print jobs are released and paid for with cash at the print release station in the Library at the time of pickup.

In addition to printing, the Library also provides free access to computers, Wi-Fi connectivity, scanning, and faxing to the general public. A West Fargo Public Library card is not required. Members of the public who are West Fargo Public Library cardholders may also check out devices such as iPads, Wi-Fi hotspots, child-friendly tablets, digital cameras, infrared thermometers, and Kill A Watt meters.
