West Fargo Library adds lactation room for public use

""

The West Fargo Public Library now has a designated lactation pod available for public reservation. The pod, which is a small room located under the stairs in the library near the new books and audiobook sections, is available to be reserved by the public for 30-minute periods. To reserve the lactation room, visit the library circulation desk or contact the library prior to your visit at 701-515-5200.

The hardware for the lactation pod was donated to the West Fargo Public Library by Marvin earlier this year.

“We are so thankful to Marvin for this donation,” Library Director Betty Adams said. “We have so many families that visit us at the library each day. It is exciting to have a dedicated space at the library for mothers.”

A department of the City of West Fargo, the West Fargo Public Library is a certified North Dakota Infant Friendly Workplace. Learn more about the West Fargo Public Library’s hundreds of programs and services online at westfargolibrary.org.
