from the Friends of the West Fargo Public Library
Season's Greetings from the Friends of the West Fargo Public Library! We hope this message finds you and your family well. While this year has brought unique challenges, we have a number of reasons to celebrate!
In September, the Friends of the Library held a successful book sale during West Fest. Even though the events of West Fest were modified due to the effects of COVID-19 on the community, we still raised over $700 to support the library and its many programs and services.
This month, the Friends of the West Fargo Public Library website was refreshed to include more robust information for current and new members. Check it out at https://westfargolibrary.org/738/Friends-of-the-Library
We are so excited to dive into the new year with you while we continue our work for the library together. We especially look forward to celebrating the library's 50th Anniversary, supporting another great year of the Summer Reading Program and aiding the many other programs and services that empower library patrons and the West Fargo community.
New this year, we are excited to announce that we will be participating in Giving Hearts Day with the Little Red Reading Bus. The Little Red Reading Bus is a mobile library service that is now a part of the West Fargo Public Library! This year, Giving Hearts Day is Thursday, Feb. 11, 2021. All funds raised on Giving Hearts Day will support this great service which brings books, learning opportunities and the joy of reading to children and families who need it most.
We are grateful for your membership and continued support.
Have a safe and warm Holiday Season,
Deb Toddie, President of the Friends of the West Fargo Public Library
& Carissa Hansen, West Fargo Public Library Director
