November 2021 Updates from West Fargo Public Library

New Program: 1000 Books Before Kindergarten

We are excited to announce our new 1000 Books Before Kindergarten challenge! The challenge is to read a thousand books with your child before they head to Kindergarten. While a thousand seems like a lot, this is a common literacy goal, and the West Fargo Public Library has tools to help you get started! Plus, your child will earn prizes along the way! Sign up for the 1000 Books Before Kindergarten  challenge at the service desk in the library or online at westfargolibrary.org/beanstack. After registering, you can pick up a Ready to Read kit at the library. Each kit includes a free book to start your child's collection, a challenge tracking booklet filled with info for parents, instructions about how to track online on Beanstack, and more!
