Summer Boost reading program begins June 1

Program for all ages (even adults!) runs June 1 - July 31.


The West Fargo Public Library summer reading program – Summer Boost – returns next week. This year's program includes an online reading challenge, the Little Red Reading Bus route and special activities for all ages. This summer's theme is "Oceans of Possibilities", so we are celebrating life under the sea!

Join the Summer Boost online challenge to track your reading hours and earn prizes from local businesses like Sandy's Donuts, Culvers, Chick-Fil-A, Fargo Brewing Co., Rough Cut Social, FM Redhawks, Nothing Bundt Cakes and more. Registration is open now on Beanstack or on the Beanstack mobile app. The challenge runs June 1 through July 31

2 - 3 p.m. Tuesday, June 14

Let's Make Candy Sushi (for Teens)

2:30 - 3:30 p.m. Wednesday, June 15
Who doesn't love candy? During this one-hour event, middle school and high school students are invited to make candy sushi - no fish needed. No registration required.

Bermuda Triangle Teen Escape Room Experience

Middle school and high school students are invited to come experience our Bermuda Triangle Escape room, where they will work together to solve a variety of puzzles. No registration required.

History of the Hjemkomst Viking Ship with Markus Krueger

Markus Krueger, Programming Director of the Historical and Cultural Society of Clay County is visiting the West Fargo Library this summer to share a presentation about the famous Hjemkomst Viking Ship.

Let's Make Ocean Terrariums (for Teens)

Middle school and high school students are invited to come make DIY ocean terrariums using materials provided by the library.
