Learn how to make sense of passenger arrival records: the single most precious document for reconstructing your ancestors’ voyage to North America. Using several key guideposts and sources (including colonial land records and immigrant directories), you can uncover facts about arrivals from colonial days through the 1950s.
This event is part of the West Fargo Public Library's series of genealogy courses, all featuring content from The Great Courses presented by John Phillip Colletta Ph. D., Professor at the Institute of Genealogy and Historical Research at Samford University. Gardening Meetup: Fertilizer Best Practices

Come join fellow gardening enthusiasts for a fun, casual monthly meetup at the West Fargo Public Library. Each month we will discuss a new topic, enjoy refreshments and have plenty of time for gardeners of all experience levels to chat, share knowledge, and get to know each other!

The West Fargo Public Library offers technology coaching by 30-minute appointment on:Tuesdays from 10 a.m. to noon, Thursdays from 6 to 8 p.m., Saturdays from 10 a.m. to noon.
Our volunteer technology tutors are available to assist with topics such as: basic computer, tablet, eReader or smartphone skills; basic internet and browser skills; setting up email or social media accounts; learning how to use apps and websites; and streaming and downloading digital media like ebooks, audiobooks and magazines.
