Real Thanksgiving Panel with Christy Goulet and Ojibwe, Lakota Elders

6 - 8 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 15

Christy Goulet, an enrolled member of the Turtle Mountain Band of Chippewa, will lead this panel of Ojibwe and Lakota Elders in discussion of their life experiences, diverse upbringings, a mix of history and contemporary living, and conversation about the retelling of Thanksgiving from an Indigenous perspective. Let's make tiny art: Mini canvas painting party for teens

Let's Make Tiny Art: Mini Canvas Painting Party (for Teens!)

2:30 - 3:30 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 23

Teens in grades 6 through 12 are invited to the West Fargo Public Library for a mini canvas painting party. The library will provide paint and other art supplies for everyone to design their own work of art. Finished works will be displayed in the West Fargo Public Library's display case for a special Tiny Art Exhibit this winter. After the exhibit, artists are free to take their pieces home. This event is free and open to West Fargo middle school and high school students (including homeschooled kids.) Wednesday, Nov. 23 is a no school day for area public schools. Learn more..
