Downtown Sheyenne Street Urbanization Project

City of West Fargo Street Fair

Event Date: Saturday, June 8, 2019
Earlier this month, the City of West Fargo announced plans for the first downtown Street Fair. The event will take place along Sheyenne Street in downtown West Fargo June 8, 2019, and feature arts and crafts vendors, food vendors, activities for the whole family and an evening street dance! The vendor/sales portion of the event will occur from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. with the street dance taking place from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.

City Government Career Day for local middle school students

In the spirit of Take Your Sons and Daughters to Work Day, the City of West Fargo is excited to announce the first City Government Career Day, 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Thursday, April 25, at the West Fargo Public Library. This event is free and open to any student at Liberty and Cheney Middle Schools to apply. It is limited to 25 participants, who will be selected after the application period closes.

Sheyenne Street Segment 3 Construction

Sheyenne Street road closure

Reconstruction efforts on Sheyenne Street are scheduled to ramp up again for the 2019 construction season in early April.

To accommodate the reconstruction of segment 3, Sheyenne Street is scheduled to close from south of 32nd Avenue to south of 40th Avenue. The closure will begin sometime between April 1 and April 15 and last through June.
